About

EARTHFEST has been founded in 2017 by the writers, artists, activists and philosophers Hildegard Kurt and Andreas Weber. The objective of EARTHFEST is to promote a spirit of kinship with the earth and to encourage collective efforts to enter in a relationship of reciprocity with the family of non-human beings through acceptance, unlearning, artistic and ritualistic practice, and before all simply through holding a space in which humans do not speak first.

EARTHFEST has received funding from the BfN (German Federal Department of the Environment), Co-Creation Foundation and Selbach Umwelt Foundation. More and more EARTHFEST relies on a circle of guardians and donors complementing dedicated institutional funding.
