EARTHFEST celebration 2021

The EARTHFEST will go ahead from June, 18th to June 22nd. Participants welcome. There is no barrier to join, simply earmark your co-creative, life-erving work with earth and all living non-human and human persons as part of the EARTHFEST ritual. If you want to publicly participate, contact the EARTHFEST team, and your celebration will be represented in our co-creative space (there is a dedicated webpage for this on the German-speaking version of this website).

Sharing Life

In the frame of Boell Foundation India’s »workspace Northeast« Andreas has written an essay on animism and ecological reciprocity. This has been fed into a collaborative process of co-fertilization and given rise to the collective authorship of the Alternative Worldviews publication, centering around indigenuous perspectives on cohabitation with the earth. The collective work is here, Andreas’ essay (pdf) here. Books can be ordered through the Boell foundation in Germany or India.

Living Waters

From March through April 2021 together with Stephan Harding, Freya Mathews and Peter Reason, Andreas taught a 24-participants course at Schumacher College, UK. They focused on practices of communicating with the non-human beings of the earth, in this case rivers. There will be offspring projects from this and possibilities to explore co-creative spaces together with non-human persons.

Get going. Exploring ways through the climate disaster

Together with the student/teacher team of the Berlin university of the arts (UdK) Andreas is co-organising a lecture series on a radical perspective shift on the climate emergency, with a particular focus on post-dualistic views and the perspective from the arts and creation. Bearing Witness to the Virus

One World Being Witness is a ceremonial space created by Elizabeth Diebold and Thomas Steininger recurring anually. It is part of the One World in Dialogue project and offers a 24-hours awareness vigil in the name of the shared aliveness of the earth.
